IC Philanthropy

In 2009, IC Philanthropy was established by the IC Council to teach tennis to disadvantaged children. In some communities, the sport provides an alternative path from life on the streets and the dangers of drugs and crime.

Our programmes also support young people with disabilities to improve their physical and mental skills whilst enjoying the company of others.

The IC of Canada marked its 60th anniversary in Toronto from 1-5 September, welcoming over 90 participants from Argentina, Barbados, Bermuda, Great Britain, Mexico, the USA, and host nation Canada. Team USA emerged victorious, with Great Britain second and Mexico close behind in third. The celebration began with informal padel games at Toronto’s Distillery District, followed by practice day at the historic Toronto Lawn Tennis Club (est. 1876).
