Juego de Pelota and Mate de Plata

The Juego de Pelota is a men's competition for teams composed of:

  • 2 men over 70
  • 2 men over 75
  • 1 playing or non-playing captain
  • 5 members including Captain (additional player allowed for a fee)

Format:

  • 4 singles (2 each over 70 and over 75)
  • 2 doubles (over 70 and over 75)
  • Best of three sets, with the 3rd set played by a match tie break (10 points)

The Mate de Plata is a ladies competition for teams composed of:

  • 1 woman over 65
  • 1 woman over 70
  • 1 playing or non-playing captain
  • 3 members including Captain (additionally player allowed for a fee)

Format:

  • 2 singles (one over 65 and one over 70)
  • 1 doubles (over 65 and over 70)
  • Best of three sets, with the 3rd set played by a match tie break (10 points)
