Event date: 08/10/2018 - 12/10/2018 Export event July 2017 The Compass IC Junior Challenge World-wide Finals - Sunday 7th October SUNDAY REPORT FROM THE COMPASS IC WORLDWIDE JUNIOR FINALS IN JAPAN On Sunday the teams have been practising on the artificial grass courts at Estolle, Japan in readiness for their first matches. These start 9 am Monday morning with the following line ups: Italy v India South Africa v Uruguay U.S.A. v Japan The event takes place over the next five days with all teams playing each other on a Round Robin basis. The highlight of Sunday was a 2 hour IC Philanthropy clinic with mentally challenged young kids which the juniors assisted in. This took place on the four indoor courts. The invited kids had a wonderful time and the junior team players found it an interesting and enjoyable experience. There were lots of smiles all round and the clinic was appreciated by everyone. Already there have been reports from the parents of the kids expressing their delight at the event and how much the kids enjoyed it. Several of the kids had said they would like to continue this tennis experience.
