IC Japan Junior Training Camp in Singapore - 8 to 11 September 2012

IC Singapore hosted a team of juniors from IC Japan conducting a training camp from 8 to 11 September 2012.

The IC Japan team was led by coaches, Kazuhiko Ohta and Yoshihito Nakamura, with players:

• Kazuki Toyoshima
• Junya Toyoizumi
• Chisa Hosonuma
• Kanako Morisaki

Training was held at the Tanah Merah Country Club and Keppel Club tennis courts.

IC Singapore arranged for the following juniors to play practice matches with the IC Japan players:

• Rohan Kamdar
• Issac Ong
• Geraldine Ang
• Wee Khee Yen

This event, which was initiated by IC Japan, was a good opportunity for talented junior players from both countries to interact with each other on a social level, to exchange ideas on training techniques, tactics and strategies and also for the players to learn about what the IC stands for.
